Effectively track the engineers and make customers happy
Airconnect is the best broadband service application which helps to track the engineers with live geo tracking using geo map to provide better service. The usage and the requirement of Airconnect are very high as it comes with a great concept. The idea of Airconnect is to track the engineers who are providing services to customers. The main functionality of this application is to provide better services to the Airconnect users.
The client came up with a requirement to develop an application for tracking the engineers. The deepest concern of the client is that the engineers location need to be tracked to make sure that they are in client location so that enquires raised by the user can be sorted out soon. The client informed that there should be an indication whether an engineer is assigned a work or not and also informed that the customers call location should be tracked so that enquires can easily be assigned to the nearest engineer to whom none of the enquires has been assigned.
By gathering the complete requirements from the client, developers checked the feasibility of the project and tested the possibilities to provide the application which can satisfy all the client requirements. Once the requirements and the feasibility are checked we committed to deliver the demands on time with perfection.
The application is developed within the timeline according to the client requirements. It contains the following features
Once customer calls to raise an enquiry, the customers location is been tracked and engineers location is been live tracked using geo maps so that the nearest engineer can be allocated as soon as possible. This helps the customer to receive their services immediately once they raise an enquiry.
Allocating the Engineers
As the engineers location is tracked there is three different indications in engineers application which states whether the engineer is free without any allocation or whether the engineer is at work place or whether is engineer is been assigned an enquiry. Green indicates the engineer is free, Red indicates the engineer is at workplace and yellow indicates the engineer is been assigned a work. This helps to easily assign enquires to engineers who are free.
Scheduling of work
If an enquiry is assigned to an engineer and if that engineer wouldn’t take that work, he can assign it to the other nearest engineer. This can avoid delay in completing the enquiry raised by the customer.
Work Flow of the Application
1.Engineer’s location will be tracked always
2.Customer can call to raise an enquiry
3.Once customer calls, the location of the customer will be tracked
4.As customer’s location is tracked, the enquiry will be automatically assigned to the nearest engineer who is not assigned to any other enquiry (Green indication)
5.Once the enquiry is been assigned, the indication in engineer’s app changes from Green to yellow
6.If engineer accepts the enquiry, the indication changes to red until the engineer completes that particular enquiry
7.If the engineer wants to transfer an enquiry which is assigned to him, he can assign it to the nearest engineer whose app indicates Green.
After all the difficulties faced, the application is been developed successfully within the timeline by satisfying all the Client requirements.
